Claire R Silverstone-Bright

Criminology Researcher - PhD Candidate @ University of Sunderland - Practitioner in Desistance & Rehabilitation

Welcome!

I am a criminology researcher and practitioner specialising in desistance after incarceration. MyPhD explores how assistance dog training can help people leaving prison reconnect with community. Alongside academia, I manage accommodation schemes for homeless ex-prisoners in the North East and employment programmes in the North West, holding contracts with local borough councils and HMPPS. I present internationally, (British, European, American, Asian and World Criminology Societies) and am authoring a textbook on desistance (due next year). My work reflects responsibility, stability and community - the same values that guide my family life and Jewish identity. Contact: hello@clairesilverstonebright.co.uk
